Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4 Mg

Bought a box that was taped shut. Want to make sure pills are chlorpheniramine. Numbers are L463 made by equaline. Thanks.

have seen chlorpheniramine maleate, 4mgs advertised online as a pet med as well as human. My question is: is this drug safe for and primarily used for humans in the first place?

Yes, it is safe for human use, it is most commonly used to treat, or prevent allergies.

The tablet with the L463 marking contains 4mgs. It is available over the counter.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, dry mouth, and headache. (in humans)
