Chest Pain Side Effect
UpdatedI have been taking macrobid for 2 days now. My chest has progressively started hurting with burning. I also have a cough. Do I need to go to ER or call doctor in the morning.. Also what is happening and what will my doctor do for this

The burning coupled with the cough leads me to suspect that you may be experienced acid reflux, which can be a side effect of this antibiotic.
You should contact your doctor, they may want you to try an antacid.
The FDA lists other typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
