Is Sulfameth Trimethoprim Used For Chest Mucous? I have a cough with lots of yellow/green mucous.

This medication is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections. So, if your doctor believes you are experiencing the chest mucous as a result of an infection, then this is probably the best medication for you to take at the moment. You can read more about this drug at:
