UpdatedI'm interested in finding out the side effects and effectiveness of Chemet. My son and I are supposed to start on it for lead detox.

It's a heavy metal chelating agent, which means it's used to remove them from the body, since heavy amounts of them can be toxic and lead, as I am sure you're well aware, can be especially dangerous.
Possible side effects may include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and eye watering.
