I've been taking chantix for 6 weeks now. My quit date was on the 17th but I ran out of cigarettes on the 12th so I said to my self... today is a good day to quit... That was a month ago. Only side effects I got was the dreams, although I was not as happy as I usually am but my husband says that just means your like a normal person now...haha very funny. I am so happy that I am a non smoker when I read people quit after 2 weeks that scared me cause I didnt think it would work. But it did!! Little bit of nausea but its worth it not to smell anymore and to breath again. It says to take for 3 months and that is what im going to do... Thank so much Chantix

Hello, Loni! How are you? Congratulations! I am so glad that this medication worked so well for you.

Many people have had good luck with it, but some still struggle to quit, even while taking it.

As to being unhappy, please keep an eye on that and be careful, as listed by the FDA, this medication can cause depression in some people that take it and it has been known to cause some suicide attempts.

Has anyone else had such a great experience taking this medication?
