Changing From Metoprolol To Losartan

My EP Dr told me to cold Turkey my Metoprolol 50mg bid and start Losartan once daily... is this ok?

It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Losartan as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and increased urination.

Have you made the switch, yet? If so, how are you doing?

I was given 30 mg of nefedipine and was weaned down from 50 mg to 25mg of metoprolol
Cardiologist said she had to wean me down.

I have been taking 25mg Losartan and 25mg Metroprolol along with Xarelto at bedtime for many years. No side effects.
