I'm currently on Percocet 7.5/325 mgs. I was in a accident which broke my ankle and lots of metal had to be put in my leg. The pain meds are no longer working which is causing me to take more than prescribed, which is causing nausea, etc. What should I tell the Dr. to get prescribed Roxys?

I am sorry that you're in so much pain!

You should just be honest with your doctor and tell them that this medication in this dosage is no longer alleviating your pain.

But, it would be best not to ask for a specific medication, because that could make them think you're drug seeking. It's best to just let them know and allow them to decide on an appropriate solution.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?
