Cetirizine Syrup

I would like to treat my 5 lb Yorkie for runny nose ans scratching behind ears. What would be the appropriate dosage. This is not a joke.

I am really not familiar with the use of medications is animals, but from what I am finding, there is some debate about the safety of using this in dogs.

It seems many veterinarians prefer using Diphendyramine/Benadryl.
