Hey im a young girl and ive recently been prescribed ibilex 500 (Cephalaxin) it is a 5 day course I am supposed to take 2000mg each day till its finished. I have just taken my first two tablets and I feel a little sick im severly allergic to penacillin. Is this drug associated with penacillin? Am I going to be allgood? ( I did not tell my docter) just a bit worried. I do not not know my emal sorry.

No, this is in a different class of antibiotics and nausea can be a normal side effect of it. As reported by the FDA, you may also experience dizziness, drowsiness, headache, stomach pain, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
