I have a long history of sinusitus and MD has given me antibiotics to use. After 3 days with 1 cephalexin 100 mg p/day. Would swithcing to cephalexin 500 mgs 4x p day get faster results??? Is it a problem stopping one and starting another??

Switching can create the risk of your developing C. Difficile, so you should take the one your doctor has prescribed for you.
The general rule with antibiotics is that if they are working, you shouldn't see any worsening after taking them for a full 24 hours, and you should see some improvement after taking them for a full 3 days.
Has there been any change, yet?
