Cephalexin 500mg Once/day Instead Of Twice

I was prescribed cephalexin for a uti and for whatever reason I've only been taking them once a day instead of twice of day as instructed on the bottle. Will this negatively affect the clearing of the infection?

Yes, it may not fully eradicate the bacteria, so you should consult your doctor, because you may need to take another course of antibiotics.

The FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
