Cephalexin 500mg Dosing Protocol For A Uti
UpdatedI am prescribed 1 Cephalexin 500mg pill every 6 hours for a UTI. How many is that a day? How should I adjust when I sleep 8-9 hours at night?

That would be 4 tablets a day, so if you were told to take them at that frequency, you should use an alarm to make sure to take as prescribed.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Have you started taking it, yet? Are you on any other medications?
