Yes, Cephalexin 500mg is safe to use for both Humans & dogs in the treatment of bacterial infections, such as skin infections, genitourinary tract infections, bone infections, and respiratory tract infections.

Cephalexin is an antibiotic that does cross over from humans to being able to be used in both dogs and cats.

As to the specific capsules you've mentioned, I'm not sure if they are manufactured to standards for human use, or not. Are there any markings on them?
