Celexa 20 Mg Hbr Vs 40 Mg

I was switched from 40 mg to 20 mg HBR, I am starting to feel s/sx of depression....can I double up on the 20 mg to equal 40 mg?

Have you consulted your doctor? Why was the dose lowered?

What you may be dealing with are some rebound effects, if the dose was lowered suddenly and that can actually be worse than the problem you initially started taking it to treat.

However, before changing the dosage on your own, you do need to consult your doctor.
