i have been on cefuroxime axetil dor 8 days and i am having runs of tachicardia and just funny heart beats

What symptoms did it cause that lead you to believe that you had signs of possible heart problems?

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.

Yes, it has also been known to cause Tachycardia, but it usually goes away, once someone finishes their course of treatment.

However, if you are having symptoms that are dangerous, then you should seek medical attention.
