Cefixime And Azithromycin Combined

Are there any drug interactions between Cefixime and Azithromycin? What side effects might occur as a result of taking a single dose of Cefixime 400 mg and Azithromycin 1 g at once?

They can be taken together, if they have both been prescribed for you.

However, the NIH does warn that you may experience more severe side effects than usual, which may include nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, and diarrhea.
