Cefixime And Potassium Clavulanate

My daughter having green diarrreah. she is treated with n able (Wallace) cefixime and pottasuim culvanate. She is having rashes now. what is the reason?

Cefixime with Clavulanic Acid is an antibiotic and one of the possible side effects it can cause is a non-allergic skin rash.

Have you contacted her doctor? Usually the rash will go away a few days after the medication is finished, however, if it is particularly severe, then you should discuss it with the doctor, because she may need to switch to a different medication.
