my wife who is breastfeeding a nine month baby was advised to take cefakind 500mg twice daily for 3 days. she was complaining of internal fever, weakness and body breaking symptoms with slight shivers. there was no temperature when taken on a thermometer. please advise the reason for the administration of the above drug.
