Cefadroxil is a broad spectrum, Cephalosporin class antibiotic, so it does help with various types of infections.

The main questions, however, are....have you consulted a doctor or dentist, so the presence of an infection has been confirmed?
The reason I'm asking is due to the fact that having a wisdom tooth coming in may cause soreness, or pain to the area, that isn't necessarily from an infection and, if that is the case, then an antibiotic shouldn't be used.
However, if there really is an infection present, as confirmed by a doctor, or dentist, then you do need an antibiotic, but it also needs to be enough for a full course of treatment. How many do you have? Are these leftovers from another infection that was treated?
