Carvedilol & Dobutamine Injections
UpdatedDear Dr.
My father 68yrs/M, is a patient of CCF and has Ischaemic Dilated Cardiomyopathy. ECG shows LBBB. He's on Ramipril 1.25mg & Carvedilol 3.125. He has intermittent cough in the night and at times orthopnea. Treating cardiologist advised Dobutamine injections for 48hrs. Says it'll improve his condition. I am not sure whether to go ahead with these injections. Please suggest if its appropriate. His creatinine is 2.0.
