Cardace 5 With Prolomet Xl 259 Both Together

Iam Kashmiri and used to salt tea, which is having salt and sodium carbonate together.I am suffering high blood pressure.To control it was prescribed Cardace 5.However it could not control pressure. Then with it was prescribed Prolomet XL 25,both are known drugs to have same effect on blood pressure.Now I am confused whether I should take only one or both together.

I'm 31 years old. I am from bijbehara kashmir. I'm taking cardace 1.25 dally (one tablet), but I go to the bathroom 3 or 4 times. Now I'm ok and so is my blood pressure. Now I want to stop taking it. plz help me.
