Big white capsules bought on Mexico & was told they were soma's, which I have taken off & on for 22 yrs. can someone please tell me if they are soma's? I am having severe muscle spasms & need to know. Thank you!

Ive got a prescription in a small purple box that has carbafen 350/400 mgs on it that come from Mexico. My question is this medicine generic brand soma are not. They are round big white pills with only a line on one side? Thank you.

If you bought these during your stay in Mexico, then I believe you would either have to have the pill analyzed by a lab or contact the store you purchased it from in order to find out if they can verify this for you as a customer. However, my opinion is that if you can't even trust the vibes of who you got it from then it's probably better to be safe than sorry, as from what I hear, a lot of touristy areas may try to take advantage of US visitors. One thing I will say though is that 250mgs is widely recognized to be a normal dose of Carisoprodol; so for all I know it may actually be legitimate. If anyone else reading this can vouch for it on their behalf, please post back and let us know what your thoughts are!

Carbafen reportedly contains the active ingredients Paracetamol (350mg) + Methocarbamol (400mg). Soma on the other hand contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol. So these two medications are NOT related, other than the fact that Methocarbamol and Carisoprodol are both muscle relaxants.
