Capsule Oxycodone

i was given blue and peach capsules filled with peach colored fine power substance inside but no imprints or marking on them, im being told they are OXYCODONE 5/100 mg...i cant find them anywhere in pill finder.does anyone know anything about them ? im lead to believe all pills in the U.S. must have an imprint on them to be able to ID them ....

That is true of manufactured prescription medications.

However, there are pharmacies that specially compound some medications, as ordered by a physician. In this case, if this is a 5/100 that is not something that is available as a standard dosage, so a doctor would have had to specially order it and the patient would have to have had it put together by one of these compounding pharmacies.

If this is what happens, the pharmacy measures the powdered medications and puts them in capsules, which of course would have no marking.

The issue, of course, here is that there is no way to know for sure if what you were told is true.
