I have long been diagonosed with ADHD by a phschiatrist years ago and also by my Mother who never knew the term....but tells me ive forever had this....ive done lots of study on this ADHD and seems i know more then some who are suppose to treat this... In any case i feel strongly that a good start for me is Adderall 30. Herein lies the problem, i cant find a Doctor who will give me this medication. As a matter of fact Im having trouble finding a Doctor or others who actually believes that there is ADHD let alone let me try adderall 30. Instead he said well there is no treatment for you and that was it. I was angry and dissapointed....any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello, Michael! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having.

However, you may be causing it yourself, by wanting a specific medication in a specific dosage, because most doctors will view that as being drug seeking behavior, especially since medications like this can be habit forming and are very frequently abused.

It is best to consult a doctor without asking for any specific medication.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and weight loss.

Does anyone else have any advice or ideas to offer?
