Cannot Afford Estradiol Patch Or Progesterone Cap

I cannot possibly afford the monthly price through my Pharmacy at Publix at Hobe Sound, Florida 33455. I am retired on a limited budget, and and hoping I can get help in the form of a discount coupon.

My current physician's name is Dr. Laurie Rothman, MD located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410. My insurance will not cover the .0375 Estadiol Transdermal system, nor the progesterone 100mg cap vir. The monthly price of both are way above my ability to afford.

I am hopeful for any help or advice. I am a retired teacher after 34+ years with the Palm Beach County School District in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Hi Carol - Sorry to hear about challenges with the cost of your meds. As far as a discount coupon goes, I know that this site offers a free rx discount card which may provide a savings over your current costs. It also links to a pricing tool where you can look up your medications and prices from surrounding pharmacies.

Also, I'd say that most drug makers offer some form of prescription assistance for qualified patients. Individuals can often continue receiving their prescription at a discounted price (or even free in some cases). Would you happen to know who the manufacturer of your medication is?
