I gave birth to my son 7 weeks ago and I was given an episiotomy. Its healed now but I'm getting a yellow discharge and I get period pains now and again altho I'm not menstruating. I have canex v at home, is it safe for me to use even though I've had an episiotomy?????

I have been unable to find much information on Canex-V, so I don't know the exact active ingredient, just that it's an antifungal that's usually used topically to treat some of the symptoms of yeast infections.

That said, since you are so close to having had your child and the minor surgery involved, It would really be best to check with your doctor, before using anything.
This may be an infection that requires antibiotics and other treatment, so it's best to be safe and careful.
