my doctors prescription is has follows AMIODPINE 5MG,BENDROFUMETHIAZIDE 2.5 CANDESARTAN 8MG, HALF INDERAL LA 80MG, ## Hello, Doris! How are you? I understand your concern, many people worry, when they are prescribed multiple medications. However, the relevant question is, while taking them, what are your blood pressure levels and your heart rate? And how high was your blood pressure before taking them? If someone's blood pressure is dangerously high, they are often prescribe multiple medications to bring it down safely as fast as possible to get them out of danger. Then once they are stable at a lower blood pressure level, medications can be stopped or changed, as needed.

Can I take a supplement contataining 50mg potassium. ## Hello, Annette! How are you? You shouldn't take an additional potassium supplement, unless your doctor has specifically said you need one. The Candesartan can sometimes cause elevated potassium, so adding more could cause your levels to go too high, which may be dangerous. Learn more Candesartan details here. Learn more Hydrochlorothiazide details here. Does your doctor check your levels regularly?
