Candesartan Causing Weight Gain And Bloating

Hi. I have been on 4 mg of Candesartan for 2 weeks. I had to stop Amlopidine because of shortness of breath. I have had palpitations and now look like I am 6 months pregnant and feel bloated. Is this normal?

Those are side effects that you should speak to your doctor about, you may be retaining too much fluid, which this medication can cause according to NIH reports, and it could be dangerous if left uncontrolled. You may need to try a different medication. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and hypotension.

Are you urinating the same as usual, or do you find yourself going less?
