Alcohol should generally be avoided while you are taking any prescription medication.

The reason is because alcohol can cause aggravation of the side effects, such as nausea, dizziness and drowsiness, which can result in one drink being equivalent to 2 or 3 and so on.

So, if you do decide to drink anyway, don't expect to be able to indulge quite as much as you usually do and make sure that you won't be driving.
