Can Withdrawal Start After Removing 1st Fentanyl Patch?

I've been on oxycodone for almost 2 years, following a bad automobile accident. I became dependent and was taking upwards of 75-85mg per day. I'm finally on a step-down regimen, starting with 60mg per day for a week, then 50mg a day/ per week, 40mg per day/week and so on, until I finish 10mg per day for a week. I foolishly took more than I was supposed to this week (had a death in the family that put me over the edge).

I can't fill my next Rx until the end of this week and was petrified of withdrawal, so I slapped on a 25mcg fentanyl patch. It's been 25 hours and I developed a terrible headache. Last dose of oxycodone was yesterday afternoon, 5/325. Put patch on at 10pm. Just took patch off at 11:30pm tonight and was wondering - if I start taking my oxycodone again tomorrow (if I can fill another Rx), will I STILL GO THROUGH WITHDRAWAL FROM THAT ONE PATCH I WORE FOR 25 HOURS? I have a high tolerance. Sorry for long question but can't find answers elsewhere! Thank you!! :-)

Fentanyl withdrawals suck. I was on - get this 200mcg/hr. The pharmacy switched me from Mylan (good) to Mallinckrodt (bad). So, I figured this was the time to get off the patches. The first three days were hell. I now have 14 days clean, I plan on NEVER going back. All of the detox centers are useless. They wanted me on another opiate. Thanks, but no thanks. Once is enough. (I did have enough diphenoxylate for the diarrhea). The only problem that remains now is lethargy and the little voice in my head that says "take some fentanyl and sleep better" - f*** the voice. I am nev.
