Hi,
I was wondering if I can stop using novelon. It's side effects are too much I am not able to sleep because of the nausea and irritation. I have a cyst for which I am asked to get a surgery done. Another doc asked me to take novelon for a month but it is not at all comfortable. Will there be an issue if I stop it? My periods had just stopped 3 days ago.

You might experience another period, if you stop it, according to NIH reports. You may also experience other side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and weight changes.
Are you on an other medications? Have you considered having the surgery?
