Hi. I need to know if I have to take a urine test on Monday at my pain clinic will the urine show what narcotics I'm taking? For ex. if I'm suppose to be taking 160 mg of oxycontin 2 a day will it now if Iv'e been taking 100 mg of methadone a day instead? Thank you

YES they will 100% be able to tell that you are taking methadone! The signatures show up different on urine tests. So unless you are supposed to be taking methadone along with your other medication you are more then likely going to be cut off your oxy script. If I was you I would get off the methadone a FULL 4 days before giving a urine sample but continue to take the oxy if you don't want to get cut off.

Julia, I hate to tell you this, it will only show the narcotics you have taken, not the amount. However, if it is sent to a lab, yes it will show the amount. I hope you don't take this as being mean or to hurt you in anyway. I always assume,if someone asks a question they want the truth

they have to ck for methadone specifically. I know that. a pain clinic I'm sure would test for that on their panel. unless ur lucky and they're just testing for ur oxycotin. ..then you'd want to get some of th st in ur system asap.

I.Release per my pain mang.dr.My appt.was feb.22nd.There is no immediate test for Nucynta except urine says pos for opioids,so he always sends to secondary lab.My question is I took 2 30mg.oxycodone 5 days before my urine was sent off.Do you think oxy will show? I was told that it is gone from you in 2-3 days.I hope this is true.
