Can Trazodone Cause False Positive For Benzodiazepines Or Zo

Yes I was on suboxone, for seven months. My doctor drug tested me three times back to back. She kept saying I was positive for benzo's. She had me on Zoloft, I had some trazodones with refills when I started going to her. The last time I went (I have no insurance, the first month I went to see her I spent a total of 850$ because I was coming off methadone, and she made me keep coming back every week). well I kept telling her there was no way I had Benzodiazepines n my system, so she says well I am only gonna give u 15, come back n two weeks, take the test, if its clean, then I will see no charge since u just paid the 200 office visit, so the two weeks went by, (my finance & family kept say maybe the cups r contaminated. I continued to take my suboxone, trazodone, and Zoloft. Two weeks later I went n for my drug screen, and to get the other half of my prescription, well the nurse comes to the front and tells me it will b 200$, I say no she said I had already paid as long if the text was good.the nurse says u have benzo's again, and she will not see u with out 200, I didn't have it. we had spent everything we had, all our savings every month because the prescription is 250/a month two. I have been a opioid addict for year, suboxone saved my life, it made me wanna leave again, be a better mother. If there is any body out there that can point me n a direction, if I had any proof that trazodone gave me positive tests for benzodiazepines that would be greatly appreciated, this has destroyed my life. I have tested positive for benzo's and THC and the only thing I have taken is Zofran and Bunivail. I literally had a panic attack when I got to my car...Please help!!

There are studies proving that if it is a urine drug screen cup test... an immunoassay test, it tested false positive almost 50% of the time on an average of 4300 people tested. If you took an immunoassay test it will give you something to fight with! But do it fast or you will lose your window of opportunity to be retested...

I take 40 mg Prozac, quetiapine fumarate, hydroxyzine and trazdone I keep getting a positive drug test I'm living in sober house I'm not using they're gonna make me leave can any of these drugs give a positive drug test?

I had the same prob with my Sub doctor, but we figured out (I figured out) it was the zoloft causing the benzo positive! He sent it out to lab once and came back beg for benzodiazepines and the only the other thing I was taking was zoloft. Aside from suboxone of course. The lab tests are really expensive though and I when I told my Dr I had seen online that zoloft can cause a benzo false positive he shook me off. But he never sent any of the other positives out. I stopped testing positive for benzodiazepines when I stopped taking Zoloft. Not a coincidence.
