Can this cause a false positive for methamphetamine on a urine test? A friend of mine had a urine test and it showed methamphetamine in it. They do not take methamphetamine.

YES. It has repeatedly happened to me bc of the amount of Zantac I was taking for stomach issues. Have them call the makers of Zantac and ask for a nurse. Make sure they record it, bc they say that they can't give any information to consumers, but can to a dr. They said to me on the phone that it does, so that is why u need to record.
