Can Nitrofurantoin Be Used To Treat Skin Infections?
UpdatedI do not have access to any other antibiotic at the moment but do have some nitrofurantoin. Will it help with what looks like an infection from a cut on my leg?

It might not, since this one is usually used mainly to treat urinary tract infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Have you consulted a medical professional? They should be able to prescribe something that will help and work better for you.
Are you on any other medications?
