Can Miralax Or Suboxone Cause False Positives For Marijuana In Urine Drug Tests (Top voted first)

my friend just had to be drug tested for court & the urine test came back positive for THC. he does NOT smoke, so it HAS to be a false reading. the only medications he takes are suboxone (prescribed by his doctor) & miralax .. could either of these medications cause a false positive for THC in a urine test?

I Went to The Dr. Today Just to Pick Up My Script For Percocets.. He Had An Order For Me To Go Down To The Lab For a 12 Panel Drug Screen.. Earlier In The Month I Passed 2 Kidney Stones & Had To Take More Percs Than Prescribed & Ran Out 6 Days Ago.. I Know That The Test Isn't Going to Show Any Percs In My System Now.. They Gave Me The Script But The Lab Hadn't Sent Report To Him Yet.. I Have An Appointment On The 31st.. My Script Isn't Due to Be Filled Til The 21st.. What My Fear Is, Is Today Is Only The 18th & I'm Afraid He Will Cancel The Script Before The 21st or If Not, Question Me About It On My Appointment Date.. What Do I Do?? Should I Just Be Honest With Him About It or Take 1 & Say To Retest Me?? I Am Terrified That If He Sees Them Not In My System that He Will Say I Don't Need Them If I Can Go That Long Without Taking 1.. But, I've Been In Withdrawal All Week From Running Out Early.. Any Repose Would Be So Appreciated!! PLEASE, SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS BEST TO DO?

I know this is a late response, but what was the outcome? Since you take your med on a regular basis and long term there's a good chance it either showed on your test or the metabolites from the oxycodone showed on your test. It all depends on what type of test is used though.

Also i do believe advil will and protonix can show up positive for THC. It's either aleve or advil, but I cant remember which.

And i know this is old but im thinking that mirlax will also test positive for THC; but u know what, all this could be broken down as it goes to a lab and i don't understand why people just assume someone is lying if they haven't heard about it. Anyway that's just my 2 cents worth, also very late. Better late than never.

If he tested positive for THC there's something he's not telling you. THC is a natural chemical and is not likely to be simulated from medicine.
