Can It Be Possible To Become Pregnant
UpdatedI am on Loestrin 28 day and was scheduled to get my period next week and will be going in vacation. I was suppose to start the brown inactive pills this coming Sunday but I started the brown pills on week three instead of week 4 just to bring on my period a week early. I've been on the pill for over 2 years and is there any possible risk associated with this kind of change. Oh and last month I skipped my period on purpose so technically I've been on the white active pills for 5 weeks straight and now I am on week 6 with the brown in active pills to try to get my period early. Please any advice with help.

Hi, Deb! How are you?
You should check with your doctor, to make sure it is safe for you to use them in this manner.
But as long as you don't miss any active pills, then there shouldn't be any pregnancy risk and using them to alter the timing of your cycle or to skip it entirely is generally considered safe.
However, since you are playing with your hormones by doing so, you may experience more side effects, such as headaches, feeling emotional/irritable/anxious and getting breakthrough bleeding/spotting.
Is there anything else I can help with?
