Can I Take Ampicilina 500 Mg If Im Allergic To Codine

Hi i woke up with a scratchy throat About three days ago. Now my throat is red, I have the starts of a cough runny nose and now diarrhea. Amoxicillon usually works me but I don't have any..
My daughter has ampicillin 500 mg. I happen to be Allergic to Codeine, can I take Ampicilina 500mg to fight the infection.

Ampicillin is an antibiotic, so it is not related to Codeine, but there is always a risk of discovering more medications that you are also allergic to.

Hi Verwon.thank you for getting back to me. I ended up taking the Ampicilian, and immediately felt better.
You see my daughter just had a baby and I am helping her care for her two girls. I became concern being around my grandkids with a Constant cough and diarrhea.
I was glad it did not contain cosine.
