Can Different Brands Of Carisoprodol Work Differently? (Page 4) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI have been using soma/carisoprodol for many years. Usually the paharmacy gives me generic from Watson or Qaulitest. Last time I got the meds it was manufac. by Carimax. It didn't work as well. Do different brands work differently?
The sciegen are the worst (SG 109). I'm trying to get them changed.
I always used the Dan but I found Rising at Walmart cheaper. Has anybody had good luck with Rising carisoprodol.
Thanks Ray
I have also found vast differences in certain generics.
Watson being the best.
Read that Watson was discontinuing the production of the Soma.
Is this true
How did the Vensun work for you? Just got my new prescription and it's not my normal qualitest.
Question is how did it work for you?
Over the years of car accidents and bronchitis, Make no mistake, HUGE difference in pain meds and antibiotics [of generic variety]. I try to avoid Indian made meds.

Googles is loaded with these articles.
I think the FDA should require under law "country of origin on EVERY bottle, or better yet, the pharmacy should have that info BEFORE you fill your script.
I no longer buy edible items from outside the US.
You should be able to choose your drugs the same way.
You don't eat anything not made in the U.S., why that is weird! Medications are produced worldwide and we don't have the luxury of picking the country of origin, heck you're lucky if you can even get Soma these days
Qualitest might not be the best brand ever but who are you to say it has too many fillers? I am currently getting Qualitest from Rite Aid, that's all they have carried in the last couple of years and it sure is better than nothing at all!
I just had mine changed from the 5513 Dan to sg 109 and these are so strong they make me have nightmares and I'm groggy all the next day. I hate them. Really strong.
When did Qualitest start selling carisoprodol again? I found them to be the most effective and went thru many months of trying to find a decent replacement with the closest being Watson. Where can you get it now? We don't have rite aid in Florida.
Qualitest started selling Soma 09/08/1997 according to the company bio. That is all I seem to get, no complaints as these are better than nothing and the price is right, about $1.10 with insurance.
Eddy, did you ever have an interruption because nobody could get them about a year ago? I would like to switch back. What is the # on it? Thanks!
Qualitest make the best Norco, they are better than all the rest
I've been on soma for 15years nothing works for me. What will they give me. I have fibromalga and six types of arthritis
What can I get that works like soma? Been on it 15 years. I have six types of arthritis and nerve pain all over.
Walgreens carries the Watson brand, most effective in my experience.
Suzi, does it work better when you eat our don't eat?
Re: Patrick (# 4)
Charlie.....I totally agree with the carisoprodol that has Dan on one side and 5513 on the other.....like taking nothing at all..... plus the Hard coating takes forever to disinigrate..... I think it does that after it LEAVES THE COLON!!!! Hate this one!!!!
Re: Betty (# 76)
Whether or not you eat may not change the effectiveness, but taking it on an empty stomach certainly makes you feel the effects.
Re: Patrick (# 4)
First of all, Watson has hands down the BEST generic form of Soma. I'm on a few right this second and they are FAR superior to any other generic. Qualitest would be the second best for sure, but I have no clue why you are saying this. In my honest opinion, the Watson's are even better than the brand name. I guarantee u received a bad batch for whatever reason. Don't talk s*** about a product when you have no clue what you are talking about.
Re: Patrick (# 4)
Watson brand soma are garbage. I mean total trash! They positively DO NOT work. Should be avoided at all cost...
