You could do this with any medication that isn't time released, but I doubt it's going to taste very pleasant. It will also probably cause it to enter your blood stream faster, so you would feel the effects much sooner than you would, when you swallow a tablet, so you should use caution if you are going to be driving, since it can cause dizziness and drowsiness, as side effects.

There are also liquid formulations available, if you have trouble swallowing the tablets. Have you tried asking your doctor about using them?

You may disolve it in water if you wish. I have issues with swallowing pills as well, some of them tend to get stuck in my throat, so I often chew mine or disolve them first. If you chew them up or mix them in water it will have a very bitter taste, you will not find it very pleasant. However, you will feel the same effects as if you swallowed the pill whole. If you choose to chew it, make sure you have plenty of water handy. After chewing, get a mouthful of water and swish it catch all the powder so you can consume the whole pill. It will also help get it down as fast as possible which you will want to do, trust me.
