I wad bitten by a dog and have nerve damage in the hand. The pointing finger doesn't work. I can't bend it when I make a fist. My doctor has given me Tripolene and said it will help with the pain. Is this correct?
I don't want to put on weight taking it

Hello, Patricia! How are you doing? Sorry that you're in pain.

Tripolene contains the active ingredient Amitriptyline, which is a tricyclic antidepressant and yes, they do sometimes help with nerve pain.

However, it can cause some weight gain as a side effect, but there's no way of knowing if that will happen to you.

Learn more Tripoline details here.

Are there any other questions or concerns?
