My Mom started this med. about 6 weeks ago. About 2 weeks ago she began seeing people, snakes, children etc.... We had them take away the med. on Saturday the 28th of May 2016. We fill this is the problem. How long before this med. is completely out of her system? As of the 31st my sister was with her and she saw snakes on the trash can. A man was in her bathroom and some others things. HELP

Hello, Tammy! How is your mom doing? Has there been any improvement, yet?
This medication has been known to cause hallucinations and it listed under the severe warnings that would require someone to stop taking it and seek medical attention.
Its normal side effects are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dizziness, blurred vision and loss of appetite.
It may take a week or so, before the hallucinations stop and she should likely remain supervised, until they do.
