What has your doctor advised?

You should be able to take the Amitriptyline without any issues, unless your doctor has instructed you not to do so.

The two can even be used at the same time, as long as your doctor us aware of it and carefully calculates the dosages. You should also be aware that you need to watch for the symptoms of CNS depression.
