Can Tetracycline Be Used For 2 Infections?

I have an infection in one of my teeth and was given Tetracycline to take for 10 days. Now I may have an ear infection. Can both infections be cured with one type of antibiotic? And if the ear infection turns out to be viral, then antibiotics won't do a thing.

Yes, it may clear up both. The FDA lists typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

And yes, you are correct again, it will not do anything to treat a virus.
