Can regestrone tablet delay the periods cycle for few days? Actually, I have a event coming up on 28 April 2012 so what shall I do to not to have periods that day?

Hi....im 27 years old n married...i didnt have periods for the last 2 months...I've taken a pregnancy test and it was negative...doctor prescribed REGESTRONE for 5 days...still i didnt have my periods... Will I have any chance to get pregnant? Plz suggest me.
