Can regestrone tablet delay the periods cycle for few days? Actually, I have a event coming up on 28 April 2012 so what shall I do to not to have periods that day?

am taking regestrone to delay my period, but it is causing serious loss of appetite. is this normal or should I consider visiting the doc? Please help me get over this sensation and fall back to regular routine!

hi i want to delay period by 1-2 days, i was suggested regestrone 5 mg. I am already on spironolactone for acne and it works for me. I am also susceptible to getting pimples and PMS before menstruation. Kindly advise whether i should take regestrone and in what dosage and how many days. Will it disrupt my cycle for the forthcoming months? kindly reply. I must mention that I have a regular 30 day cycle. I dont want to ruin that

Hi, I have taken regestrone tablet last month to postponed my period bcoz of the family function. With doctor consulting she asked me to take 2tablets at night. And I got my periods on 4th march.this month I had unprotected intercourse.Still I didn't got my period.and I am not having pregnancy symptom.I not taken the pregnancy test. Whether my period is delaying bcoz of the tablet.

Hi Sarah,

According to the link below changes in menstrual flow are one of the common side effects of Regestrone. Also, I've heard of women experiencing delayed periods after using this medication. Everyone reacts to these types of medications differently so I can't tell you for sure if it will delay your period by the date mentioned, but there is a good chance that it might.
