Can Potassium Cloride 20meq Er Tablets Be Purchased Without Prescription

I have been going to a weight loss Doctor for years now I'm not working and don't have the money. He gave me a prescription and vitamins plus a prescription for Potassium Chloride 20MEQ ER Tablets to protect my heart. My heart would skip beats without Potassium Cl. while on the weight loss pills.
In order to save money going to the Doctor monthly for the meds. I have tried two different weight loss meds shown on the Doctor OZ show. He said these pills were save and had no side affect, however They both caused my heart to skip beats. I had a few potassium pills left and broke them in half (hard to swallow whole big pill before it disintegrated,very nasty) since the pill had a mark on it to break in half ,why not take half early and then the other half latter. Still hard to swallow but it worked in keeping my heart beats normal.
Now my Questions: Is it possible to buy Potassium Cl 20MEQ ER Tablets without prescription?
