Can Percocet And Flexeril Be Taken Together? (Page 3) (Top voted first)

I take Percocet and Flexeril and was told by the doctor to wait a couple of hours before I take one or the other. What are the possible side effects, positive and negative?

I take them together all the time and have so for years with no adverse effects. If you are just starting out on these medications you may want to take them at bedtime because when I first started taking this combo it made me pretty sleepy.

I didn't think benzos and opiates were to be taken together, can cause heart to stop. I was on Valium and Percocet and was told by pain management Dr, I had to be weened of Valium because of the deaths to the two combined, thank God I have a Christian Dr that I trust. My opinion Dr knows best if they have your treatment pain number one, do I will stand and do what I have to do. I may user Flexeril with my Percocet though. This is just my .2¢ worth. If it's prescribed from your physician then it's perfectly fine to take it. It's not going to hurt you at all. You're just going to get a little sleepy and very relaxed. I hope I helped you

listen everybody knows you should check with your physician, but it's everybody's mind to tell himself doctors overcautious people don't want to believe people are on this forum to find out what you can or can not really do people not bullies telling the truth. It is like I said; it is best to go to online and put in both medications to see if there's any interaction. if not take them both. I know you can take both. done it for too many years, but you should always check a second source when listening to things on the internet. People need to understand they're on this forum to get real experiences, so don't criticize people for giving their opinion. that is what a forum is for, not for ignorant people to criticize other's opinions. give your opinion and don't start arguments on a forum. it's a waste of time to read it. answering it will hurt you or it will not. then shut up. you have a right to your opinion. that's why people go on forums to gather a lot of opinions, then they make their own respective forum. just give your opinion. it tells you on this forum if you would read it before you click agree. it tells you do not do what you were doing. they catch you. you will not get your message to this is not just my opinion. it is forums of opinions and why would somebody want to bully somebody that is an ignorant comment

Lol absolutely no side effects. The side effects you describe are less than the one on the side effects of ibuprofen they got for me. Tell you that too many reasons more than any. He's probably trying to protect you.
