Can Oralcon Cause A Miscarriage?

If you take oralcon while you are pregnant, can it lead you to losing a baby? For example, let's say you didn't know that you are pregnant.

Hello Amanda,

According to the FDA there is not strong evidence to suggest that taking any type of contraceptive will negatively impact your child. Unfortunately this isn't actually as promising as it sounds, the reason that there is not strong evidence is that there are not enough clinical studies done on pregnant women as it would be an unethical practice to test on actual mothers and babies.

What is noted is that there is absolutely a chance of a miscarriage if you took a large enough dose of oralcon, but this dosage would be much greater than your normal once a day dosage. So if you have been taking them as instructed then you may not need to worry.

If you believe you are pregnant and you have been taking oralcon I strongly suggest that you consult your doctor immediately and get a medical diagnosis. Best of luck and I hope you have a great holiday season.
