Can Mobic Cause Hair Loss Side Effects?

Does Mobic cause hair loss? I am losing lots of hair in brush, washing and on clothes.

I started Mobic 3 months ago and it works great but am also losing a ton of hair. All I hear is quit taking this drug. Any other suggestions?

I started taking Meloxicam over 6 weeks ago and now I am losing hair like crazy
I wish I had know of this side affect before hand now I am fighting to reverse this night mare , will no longer take Mobic after I researched it to find others were experiencing the thing.

Yes, the FDA does list this as being a possible side effect of this medication. Other side effects may also include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation.

There are other medications you can try that may not cause hair loss, you each might want to consult your respective doctors about trying something else.

How are you all doing, now? Has there been any change?

Dam right it can. Stop immediately! Buy aloe. You can get it by the slab for two bucks at Walmart. Cut it down the middle, scoop it out. Rub the gel from root to tip. Let it dry, try and keep it on all night. Wash with coconut milk shampoo and conditioner by Organics. Really rub it into your scalp. I haven't even been washing it, just conditioner. Every day.

Quit taking it! It's a night mare! It can cause IBS, kidney stones, infection, even failure. Leakey gut. I took one pill, and lost at least thirty percent of my hair. I'm never going to be the same.

You can, guess what? Good chance they will give you something else that causes it. I have a three page print out of drugs that cause it. Mobic and antibiotics, steroids, antidepressants, the top five. They are more unforth coming, and secretive than the FBI and CIA combined. The only way to find out about a drug is to Google it. And ask specifically if it causes hair loss. The manufacturer doesn't want you to know either. Doctor's and manufacturer make a ton of money off our misery.

Buy Maui or organics shampoo and conditioner, massage gentle, head downwards. Leave conditioner in as long as you can. Eat lots of leafy greens, take lots of vitamin c, collegian, it helped me. Shower in tepid water. The biggest shed was in the beginning. It mellowed out a couple weeks later. It took about three months to completely stop. It will look flat and limp for about a month. But then it gets better. Hang in there, I was totally freaking out. They tried to deny it, say I had a vitamin deficiency.
